Bike Camp
is a three-day celebration of the noncompetitive side of cycling. Taking place April 10–12, Bike Camp brings together group rides, workshops, a bike show, parts swap, live music, food, and potentially other stuff that we forgot to mention. Whether you’re rolling in for a single event or camping out for the full experience, it will be unlike any bike event you’ve been to before (except Bike Camp last year).
Bike Camp is held at Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center, located at 400 Garden Road, Chattanooga, TN 37419, a beautiful outdoor setting just minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the ticket paper cutout above. Come ride bikes, learn something new, eat good food, and spend time with old friends and new.
Ronnie Romance
runs Ron’s Bikes and cofounded Ultradynamico Tires, and he has been an influential voice in modern adventure cycling. Ronnie helped aesthetically define the alt-bike moment through his writing, photography, design work, and riding style.
Twain is the project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mat Davidson, based out of Virginia and later Austin. Known for raw, intimate, and often experimental songwriting, the project has released several albums, including Rare Feeling and Life Labors In The Choir.

Secret Ride
The Secret Ride will be led by our out-of-town friends from GenoSack. We’ll leave from Two Bikes at 4:00PM, The route will be 10–15 miles(?), no-drop, low-stakes, and will weave together abandoned hiking trails, bits of urban singletrack, and some alleyways. Don’t bring a road bike.
Pre-Party
The Friday pre-party will be hosted at the home of the best Dr. Pepper in town, Mean Jeen’s. This 21+ (sry kiddos) party will feature our friend Dean’s absolutely enormous loudspeaker system, probably a few neighborhood dogs (hopefully Josh and Jeena’s foster dog BUCKET), good food, good drinks, and a nice time. Are you sober like basically all of Two Bikes staff? No worries, Mean Jeens has a bunch of good N/A options!
The Grand Depart
Start the weekend off by grabbing coffee at 9am at Velo and then head to Bike Camp at 10am with Ronnie Romance. We’re encouraging as many folks to park in town and ride to Reflection Riding as possible (it’s more fun that way). Load your bikes up, get a coffee, and let’s go bike camping.
Workshops
This year our workshops once again feature the coolest things that our friends are really really into. Bike Camp will feature broom making, woodworking, anarchist calisthenics, tea making, a salamander meander, a plant walk, and much more. Full schedule can be found using the schedule link above, subject to change.
Bike Show
the Bike Show is back, baby! Enter your bike for free (but you need to register at the event page) in the Pre-Y2K, Post-Y2K, and People’s Choice categories. The judges are hilariously stacked including Derek from Two Bikes (ofc), Ronnie Romance, Mitch from GenoSack, Luke from Soma Fabrications, Nick from Bikepacking, and maybe one or two more folks?
Parts Swap
There’s no such thing as a bike event without a parts swap! Wipe the dust off your parts bin and buy, sell, trade bike parts! Tables are limited, so register asap on the registration page, it’s free.
Saturday night’s Community Dinner begins at 6:30 PM and is included with your Bike Camp ticket, bringing everyone together for one of the most special moments of the weekend. Dinner features chili from Mean Jean’s, with vegan and vegetarian options available, and is served family-style at one long communal table beneath Lookout Mountain.

Group Run & Yoga
Saturday also includes two movement-based offerings designed to help you loosen up and enjoy the landscape in different ways. An all-skill-level yoga session led by Ana Fajardo offers a welcoming, grounding practice that’s perfect whether you rode hard or just want to stretch and reset. For those looking to move a little faster, a trail run led by Bad Beard Events will explore the surrounding terrain.
20 Mi. Ride
The 20 mile route climbs up Lookout Mountain on the iconic gravel Guild Trail and then meanders through the beautiful neighborhood, Fairy Land. Be sure to stop at the beautiful overlook by the golf course (you can’t miss it) before you circle back and take the screaming descent down Ochs Highway. From there you’ll turn left back onto the Guild Trail and make your way back to camp.
40 Mi. Ride
The 40 Mi. Ride follow the 20 mile route until you pass the golf course. Then, you’ll turn left to ride down Lula Lake Road which you’ll take to the Lula Lake core property. From there you’ll take a semi-secret trail to Nickajack road and then Long Branch Trail. Hold onto your horses because that one can get a lil’ bumpy. That’ll eventually dump you out back on Hinckle Road which will turn into Lula Lake Road. Finally you’ll connect back to the 20 Mi. Route which will take you down the spicy Ochs Highway, right back onto the Guild, and then back to camp!
