Derek’s Rockhopper
Derek uses this as his daily commuter when he’s carrying stuff, as a bike camping bike, and a piddle-around-town bike. You can oftentimes find him with a small metal thermos in his right hand filled with a Velo Coffee cappuccino while riding this bike.
Mitchell’s “Sketchy Chapman”
This is the fourth version of Mitchell’s “drop bar commuter bike.” It’s used for longer-distance commutes, scenic road rides, or for when it’s raining. This bike is heavily influenced by Mitch Prior of MAP Cycles, Brian Chapman of Chapman Cycles, and no one more than Steve Frey of Rene Herse Cycles.
Kevin’s
Mountain Tour
Kevin uses this bike as a daily commuter, and you often can find it locked up outside of Velo Coffee, or somewhere like that. I think he originally picked this bike up from Two Bikes Knoxville, but he’s rebuilt about everything since then including adding Paul levers and linear pull brakes, a front rack, and tons of little details.
